Felipe Massa and Davide Rigon will take to the track for Ferrari in the upcoming Young Driver Test at Silverstone tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.
Massa is on hand to test the Pirelli tyres as the FIA have granted permission for regular race drivers to use the test, usually held to give pre-F1 drivers a chance behind the wheel, as a Pirelli development test. He’ll take the morning session on the third and final day.
Meanwhile, Davide Rigon will be the driver taking the brunt of Ferrari’s track time. The 26-year-old member of the Ferrari young driver programme will pilot the Ferrari on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon. He has previously been behind the wheel of a Ferrari at last year’s young driver test. He’s currently racing in the Blancpain Endurance Series.
