Polish driver Robert Kubica has been dealt even more bad luck after slipping on Ice in Northern Italy and re-opening the fracture in his right tibia.
He was taken to Viareggio hospital where he underwent an X-ray and was then transferred (By request) to Pietra Ligure hospital to be with the doctor that treated him after his rally crash.
The pole is still recovering from his awful crash during a Rally, Also in Italy, Which took place last february. In the crash, Kubica suffered partial amputation of his forearm, fractures to his right elbow, shoulder and leg, as well as significant loss of blood.
It was hoped that Kubica would be able to make a return to F1 in 2013, with rumours saying that he had signed a contract with Ferrari as a reserve driver.
